Game Plan

As people, we are more likely to complete a complex task if it is broken down into smaller tasks for us. This is no different when it comes to a Marketing Leader’s initiative. In this concept we will leverage the people behind GML to help breakdown the complexities that a Marketing Leader faces and guide them to achieve success more decisively.

Gartner Global CIO Research Board

The Research Board, a private community of CIOs from the world’s largest enterprises, was founded in 1973 as a privately run business, bought by Gartner in 1998 and kept as a private brand. Gartner is now making the move to fold the Research Board brand under the Gartner portfolio and value proposition. The assignment is to develop a high-level story on a single scroll website, enabling senior global CIO prospects to quickly digest key value/benefit statements. The site should encourage and enhance conversations with RB members throughout the prospecting life cycle to cultivate those relationships from prospect to member.

The Book

The Report issued to members before each year’s meeting is one of the Research Board’s most iconic symbols, and one of the greatest advantages of membership. This user experience is inspired by that book, and the way it conveys information in a simple, linear manner. This approach oers the ultimate in intuitive navigation, while inspiring members to take action and help write future chapters.

The most pertinent pieces of content would live in a card. To make the page adapt to a different sized device view, the background image would drop off (since it is more decorative than essential) leaving the card to adjust as needed.
